Dr. Carmel Bachar, Chiropractor
I graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College earning my Doctor of Chiropractic degree, after obtaining an Honours specialization degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario. I then obtained a subsequent certification in Functional Integrative Acupuncture from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
I have always been involved in health and athletics at the recreational, performance and rehabilitation levels. Over the years, my experience in training and treating a wide variety of conditions helped establish a strong passion for healthy movement. With a background in swimming and gymnastics, I strongly believe in the benefits of movement, strength, and flexibility for living a healthy lifestyle.
To facilitate each patients’ return to optimal function as quickly and effectively as possible, I apply an evidence-informed and patient-centred approach. This may include chiropractic adjustments, prehab (injury prevention) and rehabilitation exercises, soft tissue therapy, education, functional retraining and more. My goal is to help others live active and balanced lifestyles.
